As an #EarthMama Ambassador I’ve been asked to share my experiences with using Earth Mama Angel Baby products for a month. So from now through August 19 I will be switching out whatever products I can in favor of Earth Mama. I was sent an amazing review package plus I have some Earth Mama products in my home already because I am a HUGE fan of the company and the ingredients they use to make safe personal care products for the whole family. I can’t wait to share with you how I am using the products and most importantly what I think of them.
I’ve decided to ask all of you to participate along with me for the next month by taking my #PureBodyChallenge to rid your family’s personal care routines of chemicals and irritants that are found in most store bought products. Seriously, once you start looking this stuff up it gets a little scary!
I’ll be going through things in my home that we often use to see how they rate on the Skin Deep Cosmetics Database from the Environmental Working Group. Their website is an amazing resource because not only can you look up specific ingredients but also product names for an overall hazard score. I love it but I’m sure most of the mainstream companies hate it because their products aren’t rating well. Though I’ve really made an effort in the past 2 years to choose safe products I know there are a few areas I’m lacking and some “natural” marketed products that sneak some ingredients by. I’m looking forward to this challenge as a great learning experience so I can be aware of which ingredients to steer clear of the most.
My intention with the #PureBodyChallenge is simply to make you aware of the ingredients in the products in your home. I realize that it is not financially possible for most of us to just dump all of our products in the trash and go out and buy brand new things. But as you finish some of the products that have high scores (aka high hazard) look to replace them with safer options for your family’s health & wellness and our environment.
I look forward to sharing how I am using my Earth Mama Angel Baby products. Mostly, I can’t wait to share their alternative uses! I can use the same products over and over for multiple uses which is great for saving space with less bottles cluttering up my shelves and saving money by only buying a few items.
So take the #PureBodyChallenge with me today by following me on Instagram and sharing photos with the hashtag of products you’ve looked up and are ditching! And I want to know which safer products you are switching to!
