Today I’m excited to be partnering with the Rainforest Alliance and sharing some amazing companies that have committed to sourcing sustainable ingredients for their products. I was sent this gift package containing all Rainforest Alliance Certified products.
The Rainforest Alliance is an international non-profit organization that seeks to conserve biodiversity and educate on the importance of sustainable agriculture. They work with farmers to conserve natural resources which will ultimately be better for our planet.
The Rainforest Alliance Certified Seal features a little frog and means that there are ingredients in the product that have been sourced from farms held to the highest environmental, social, and economic standards to conserve wildlife, safeguard soils and water, and protect the workers. There are more products receiving the seal every day, which is awesome because more brands are realizing that their consumers want to buy fairly made products.
Featured Rainforest Alliance Certified Products
Allegro Coffee – I really enjoyed each of the Rainforest Alliance Certified products in my gift package but this Rainforest Blend Coffee was definitely my favorite! The whole beans were so fresh and the coffee was really pure tasting. This particular blend is a Medium-Dark roast and has flavorful hints of cocoa, toasted almond, and caramel.
Clif Bar – These are seriously yummy bars and though they are not new to me I was happy to learn that they are a responsibly minded company and source eco-friendly ingredients. I love Clif Bars for a quick travel snack since they can easily fit in my purse or diaper bag. The Coconut Chocolate Chip bar was so good and they are also available in many other delicious flavors as well. They are wholesome, delicious and sustainably sourced!
Tom’s Of Maine – You’ve more than likely heard of Tom’s Of Maine products before. I’ve used the toothpaste and mouthwash for years but had never tried their soap. I love using clean beauty products and this palm oil soap is perfect for those who prefer gentle soaps with light smells. The Daily Moisture Beauty Bar with Olive Oil & Vitamin E leaves my skin feeling soft and has a pleasant citrus smell that doesn’t linger.
Aloha Bay – The little Vanilla Bean travel candle that I received is made with palm wax and scented with vanilla essential oil. It is so cute and petite and has that amazing natural vanilla smell (no artificial fragrance!). It burns nice and clean and they offer several other delicious sounding scents.
Bixby Bars – This was the first time I’d heard of Bixby Bars and the Birdie Bar was so good! It is vegan and made with dark chocolate, hazelnuts, currants, and Maine sea salt. I love that it is non-GMO verified and has high protein and fiber for a candy bar. I would definitely buy these for a special, but healthy, treat!
Salazon Chocolate Co. – This Organic Dark Chocolate with Sea Salt was AMAZING! I don’t think I’ve ever had a chocolate bar with sea salt in it (and if I have then it wasn’t good enough to remember) but I’m totally hooked. The rest of their chocolates sound so delicious and I’d especially love to try the coffee, caramel, and lavender varieties.
Republic Of Tea – I’m usually a hot tea drinker, probably because I’m just not patient enough to enjoy it iced, but I took my time in preparing the Organic Mango Coconut Water Iced Tea. It comes packaged in unbleached tea bags and is USDA certified organic. I’m no tea expert so I can’t speak to the mix of herbal flavors but I found it deliciously refreshing, which is what really matters anyway! It is perfect to sip on in this 80 degree weather that has come out of no where and is naturally caffeine free so my toddler can enjoy some with me.
Next time you are shopping be sure to keep your eye out for the Rainforest Alliance Certified frog seal and you can feel great about your purchase making a difference in our environment!
