There are so many protein powders on the market today but they are not all created equal. Since finishing my Whole30 I’ve stuck to a mostly Paleo diet (though I did experiment with some food reintroductions, more on that another day). Many protein powders are dairy based for their source of protein or those that are vegan still have a bunch of extra unnecessary additives. So I was really excited to try out the new Gather Paleo Vegan Protein from Oriya Organics.
I worked with Oriya Organics a few months ago (check out my Raw Cacao Peanut Butter Banana Protein Smoothie Recipe) and loved that their powder was 100% organic and verified non-GMO. Their newest product caters to those of us who love smoothies or using quality proteins but stick to a Paleo and/or vegan diet. This new powder is still 100% organic and also features certified Paleo, Vegan, and non-GMO seals.
Since Whole30 I’ve really been focusing on balancing the protein and fat in my diet and including more veggies. So, having a high quality protein powder is an important part of my kitchen moving forward. I love having energy bites on hand for a quick little snack in between meals if I’m feeling hungry but its not quite time to eat. Just popping one or two of these yummy energy bites and drinking some water does the trick so I’m not grabbing to many snacks that I don’t need.
These Coconut Almond Cacao Energy Bites are easy to make and packed full of healthy protein and fats. They are Paleo and Vegan featuring the new Oriya Organics Gather Paleo Vegan Protein powder (scroll down to enter the giveaway to win some protein powder to try!).
- 1 scoop Oriya Organics Protein Powder
